Embracing the Power of Kindness: February's Heartfelt Journey

Hello, wonderful parents and students!

The month of February is associated with love and warmth, we explored the heartwarming theme of Kindness. We spread positivity and created ripples of compassion that touch hearts both big and small. Making the world a brighter place through acts of kindness and genuine connection.  This month we learned about kindness, what it means and why it is important and how to show kindness in the world around us. On February 28th did Pink Shirt Day activities at school.

Here are a variety of ways that you can help your child learn more about the theme of kindness. These can be done through reading about it, talking about it and practicing it.

On Pink Day student read the story "Power of One." Students did shared/wrote about one kind act that they could do. One kind act starts the ripple effect, where one kind act to one person, then spreads to the next person as we each try to spread kindness to others.
