About Us
Welcome to Cold Lake Elementary School!

Principal's Message
Dear Friends,
Cold Lake Elementary School is a safe, caring and exciting place for our students to learn. We
offer a Pre-school program as well as Kindergarten to Grade 3 classes to serve the needs of students in Cold Lake North and the surrounding area.
Our staff at CLES focuses on meeting the individual needs of our students first and operates from a student-centred model of instruction. We believe in a holistic approach to education and supporting our students' individual learning needs. We continually focus on implementing the best instructional practices available to successfully engage students in meeting the curriculum outlined in the Alberta Program of Studies. Cold Lake Elementary staff are also committed to the implementation of a school wide Moral Intelligence program, which emphasizes the values of compassion, empathy, respect, honesty, and responsibility.
At CLES, we value our parent volunteers tremendously. Our School Council is a highly effective team that works cooperatively with our staff to address our students' needs. Please do not hesitate to come in and meet us in person!
Yours Truly,
Kathy McKale
Principal
